For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. We loved the location as it was away from the busy coast but close enough to visit and best of all close to the mountains and the southern coast. There is really good places to find a traditional meal in this quiet town and the locals are welcoming. The facilities are well appointed, which suited our 4 night stay. The hosts were very welcoming and we had a home cooked meal the first night in their little restaurant at the property.
Very welcoming lovely couple who made our first night in Crete very special - we got dinner (with Raki :) ) although we arrived very late, could swim in the nice pool in the morning and had a very big breakfast with a variety of great homemade dishes. Perfect first location if you arrive at Iraklion airport!
Everything was there - nice room, a pool (even not too small for an adult), a restaurant run by hosts (great salads), and narrow, but available parking places. On top of that, the location looks very remote but in the village, there are a few amazing restaurants. It's also very close to Knossos and Heraklion. And last by not least - hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Amazing, atmospheric, typically Greek house with a family atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, well-equipped and charming. Delicious breakfast, lots of choice. I would highly recommend. It is really worth stopping here and feeling the beauty of this place.

The village itself is quiet, typically Greek, and has an interesting small canyon (Spiliotissa) starting there that you can easily go through.
The hosts were lovely and although communication was limited we got along well. Didn’t stay long enough but recommend it for a long stay. The apartment has all you need. The pool is great and the location ideal. Had the best sleep here, bed was fantastic and comfortable! Quiet, clean and cozy - what more do you need!
