Location! It is right across the street from a great beach, away from most of the trafic. Place is small so stores and restoraunts are minutes away. Owner was supportive and easy to comunicate with. A selection of complimentary drinks was waiting for us in the fridge.

Aris and his brothers truly made my stay memorable and enjoyable. The hotel location and room view were incredible, but their warm reception, availability, and support during my stay not only provided a wonderful experience, but also yielded wonderful memories for my holiday. The entire family knew me by my first name from the time of check-in and there was always someone available at all hours if I needed anything. You can tell they truly care about their guests, not just running a business like so many of the beachfront hotels can be. The hotel in general was spotless, as was my room. I will make a point of traveling to Crete again, just to stay at Hotel Edelweiss.

Super nice hosts, we felt very welcome. We enjoyed our encounters with them and other family members. We appreciated having the small supermarket downstairs where we found everything we needed. The owner also sells olives and olive oil from his father's farm. Beach and restaurants are a short walk from Lyttos.

From the first moment the owners/staff were very friendly and attentive. Room had balcony with sea/harbour view. The property had great restaurant with fresh seafood and other options available and with seating even on the beach. Breakfast options were great and didn't break a bank. There was a mini market or two in the village and many more small restaurants/cafes.

Manos and family were great hosts and very accomodating. After asking for some additional kitchenware, they were happy to oblige. Room was tidy and clean, bathroom was recently renovated. There’s a bar downstairs where you can lounge in shade and order something to drink or snack - we usually ordered dakos and cappucino, both were great. Through the week, trucks with produce come around - cheese, fruits etc. - ask Manos which day each truck comes. There’s parking in front, beach is close by. Make sure to stock on supplies beforehand, this small town doesn’t have normal grocery stores - you’ll be overpaying for everything. Getting here by your own car is a must, so you are able to go on trips. Everything else is accesible on foot - there are some nice beaches and good restaurants in Tsoutsouros.

Friendly attentive staff. Early check in was no problem. The studio was large, bright, and had a terrace overlooking the sea, beach only steps away. The wifi was super fast.

Simply wonderful. This was our best stay in Crete so far (and we've spent more than a month visiting different parts of the island already). The house is newly renovated with great taste and even greater attention to detail. Everything is well prepared, well equipped and clean. The host is great and she goes out of her way to provide you with the best possible experience. It really feels like arriving at home. The sea is for a 2 minute walk from the doorstep. There are some very good restaurants nearby. The whole place is peaceful and quiet. Can you wish for more from a relaxing vacation? I certainly cannot.

Beautiful apartment right opposite the sea, exceptionally clean and very well equipped, everything you could need is here! As others have said the spiral staircase to reach the apartment is strange, but once you've been up and down a couple of times it's fine, and the rest of the apartment, especially the balcony far outweighs the stairs. We net Maria the owner who was so lovely, greeting us with a bottle of cold water which was most welcome 😀. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. *****
