We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was light and generously proportioned with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. It was simply and tastefully decorated and offered beautiful country views from the windows.
Breakfast was delicious, and nutritious with fresh fruits, nuts and yogurt as well as cereals and the traditional English breakfast, which included freshly laid eggs. There was also a choice of small snack meals in our room in the evening if required.
I will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

The lady was very welcoming and looked after us all. We were only there for one night, but we had a lovely breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. Facilties were spot on with tea and coffee in the room with biscuits and fresh towels and toiletries.

A lovely couple run this B'n'B; friendly and happy to pass on information about the local sights. Also, I was offered fresh milk to go with the tea and coffee in my room.
A sitting area has been provided for guests, so we aren't confined to our rooms but are, likewise, not impeding on our hosts' private time.

Immaculately clean, extremely comfortable bed. Everything we needed for our stay. Great location and a choice of places to eat. Great communication in relation to gaining access. We were even welcomed with a ballooon for our anniversary. Would definitely visit again.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location on the high street is good, plus it also has a lovely view of St Peter & St Paul’s church. The beds were very clean and also very comfortable.
Great location, great breakfast, interesting and quirky old fashioned hotel with lots of charm and a lovely garden. Wouldn't look put of place in an Agatha Christie style film! Spotlessly clean and comfy bed, very quiet location, slept well during my stay. Tea, coffee and water topped up every day and there was plenty of it.
Lovely old house and garden. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and they dealt well with our various complicated dietary requests!! Happy to chat and share useful local knowledge. Good parking and garden, downstairs lounge and bar area were comfortably furnished and never busy during our stay. Bedrooms were comfortable. Convenient location for getting to Shrewsbury and nearby places, also Chester and the Welsh borders. Close to local shops and pubs in small town of Wem. Great bakery and delicatessen. Everything was lovely, we did have to pre order our dinner on Friday as there was a group of 12 . Breakfast was delisioa& plenty of choice
... No food on Sundays In restaurants but the golf bar a few hundred meters away did lovely snacks so that was grand. Location wise it was a walk from the church where we attended a wedding so perfect, although out of the way for town trips so would need transport which we new already . Spotless clean, very freindly staff amd highly recommended .
