Everything we loved the hotel. The room and the food was excellent it's a little gem set in the fantastic village of Liddington surrounding areas are old wordly and lovely bede house is only up the Rd as is kirby hall. Both with the English heritage both are well worth a visit

Fab location, plenty around and only a few minutes walk from the train station. The room was lovely and super clean! Lovely little touches like juice and fresh milk in the fridge as well and plenty tea, coffee and cereal to start the day! Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Oakham!

The room was perfect. The bathroom was excellent and the products provided were just right. It was the room with the Juliet balcony and although the weather was overcast and darkening, it was so nice to open the doors to watch the golfers and watch out for owls. We had breakfast in the morning. Perfect. The best breakfast I've ever had. From the warm pastries, tasty fruit and yoghurt and perfect scrambled egg and salmon. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Staff were excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent - good cooked breakfast with lots of choice.. Room and public areas were very clean & tidy. Managed to get on the Crown car park which was good. Location excellent - right in the middle of town and opposite marketplace
Its location and its price couldn’t have been any better for me and the property also allowed my dog to stay in the room for an extra £10 which was ideal. Although everything is very basic, all you need is there for a nights stay.
Large room very clean. Large comfortable clean bed. Large comfy sofa. I requested a room at the end of the coridoor so as not to be disturbed by other guests walking passed, and the hotel obliged. The room was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep. They provide a wall heater if it's too cold, and a fan if it's too hot. Free parking. Good Wi Fi. Good simple self serve continental breakfast included in the cheap price. Even use of the microwave any time if you wanted a microwave meal in the evening.
Room was a decent size, clean and location ideal to travel around. Indian restaurant nextdoor served good food but you will have to travel several miles to eat at restaurant or pub.The saving grace is that this hotel is very reasonably priced.
We leave just outside Sunderland and visit family in N London. Ideal place to rest in between locations. You don't want to spend a fortune. This place was cheap and clean.
The hotel offered budget price stay. Location was ideal for our purposes. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably clean and tidy. The room was warm an plenty of hot water.
