The host Kirsty was very welcoming. Room and en suite was extremely spacious and comfortable. Some Scottish snacks also provided which is a lovely touch. Room was clean and breakfast was absolutely fantastic, fresh bread, homemade pancakes and a Scottish fry up was amazing before a day of hillwalking. Would definitely return again.

Photos don’t do justice to this place. Very nicely kept and hosts are amazing. Food was really good and had options to customise the breakfast. Rooms are well equipped and very clean.
We booked two rooms and entry to them was separate and felt more so secluded area only for our family. Beds were comfy and quite big as compared to other places we stayed in Scotland.
We thoroughly enjoyed the property and wish had spent more time.
You do need to travel 15mins to reach nearest town but it’s worth it. There are few places near by to see aswell.

Seeing the trains, crew and passengers
Tea and biscuits on arrival
Quirky bedrooms were a delight
Beds were extremely comfy and the room was cosy
Lovely to sit outside for meals and drinks and meet the other guests
Friendly and helpful staff, including the station cat
Graham also shared fresh grapes and apples from his garden
Lovely relaxed atmosphere
Would definitely recommend
What a find - quirky and fabulous. Room warm and cosy, beds comfy, all kinds of tea in the room with coffee etc., biscuits, carafe of fresh water, mints. Quiet location with a few trains running by. Cockerel to greet you in the morning - what more do you want!
We were disappointed that booking. Come did not mention that the station was still open.
The toilets, although very clean were a surprise, a bit like karzy at the bottom of the garden.
Absolutely bliss! I used it as an opportunity to switch off from the world and just relax. It’s the perfect location to be at one with nature and reset yourself after a hektic few weeks of travelling. The staff where absolutely amazing and more than accommodating. It had everything you need! Couldn’t recommend it any more.
Location was good and suited us well.prprty was very unique and quirky.
Graham and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Loved the table set up outside the rooms.
