Nice location, clean & great food with friendly service.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Great location lovely old building yet had a fresh modern feel to it as well. Spotless clean couldn’t find a single fault with the place. Also really enjoyed breakfast and liked the fact local ingredients were widely used!
We were backpacking on the moors and so the location was perfect for us. The inn specialises in beef steaks and mine was excellent. The menu offers 10oz steaks but when I asked they said that they could do 8,6 or 4oz. Why not say that on the menu? It would have put me off going there to eat if I was a local. The breakfast too was excellent, though there were no juices or ceral out for us to help ourselves. I think that makes it easier for the staff to deal with, very sensible.
The bed linen was lovely and the bed very comfortable.
Perfect little find . Host Richard and Caroline were extremely welcoming, place was spotlessly clean, nice fluffy towels, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Eco shower and body wash.
Breakfast was superb all locally sourced. Great location, with parking
The room was ideal for a family with the separated single beds which the kids loved with the curtain. It was very clean and the complimentary tea, coffee and sugar was so convenient.
food was lovely, both evening meal and breakfast was beautiful and excellent quality, if your doing walking ideal location for hikes. great wi Fi even though your in the middle of know where.
This was an ideal location as I was meeting up with friends. The room was nice and quiet and well fitted out for self catering although being lazy I preferred to dine out. The host were really friendly, a great place to stay
