The apartment was suitable for our needs it was comfortable and the host was a lovely lady there was tea coffee and sugar and when we asked how far the shop was for milk she went and brought us some would highly recommend this gem of a place

The location is idyllic .. I knew the hotel when I was young growing up in Yorkshire. The hotel is shabby & very neglected .. the staff were so lovely & helpful… but reception was never manned… couid never find anyone… the rooms not very clean… flies & wasps a real problem .. but they had left an aerosol spray so that was appreciated… but the corpses were left on the windowsills for days!! However I stayed an extra night because the staff were so friendly
Very helpful staff on checking in and also when dealing with queries. Lovely hotel, superb location, very peaceful but not too from main roads.Did not have an evening meal but did have afternoon tea which was excellent, very well presented and plenty of it .
Location was excellent. A lovely peaceful country setting. beautiful. Room spotlessly clean. Carpets on stairs need a good clean though. Friendly front staff.
The food and location are wonderful. We had room 12 which was a but small and the position of the bed not ideal, there wasn't room for a bedside table. It was OK for one night though. We slept well.
The price was great, I believe it was a last minute deal. location was rural but stunning. Staff were great at all times. The views were unreal
