We were attending a wedding around 20 minutes away but wanted a quieter location for sleeping. The area is beautiful and the owner is correct that you do need a car to get out and about. Although you may be able to get around by bike did not try this. The Host Neil was great, spoke to him on Whatsapp. The accommodation itself was good and served our needs for the stay and has wonderful views, everyone we met there was also really pleasant.

As a horse lover my daughter absolutely loved our stay and meeting the horses. Yes you will hear horses and there will be related working livery noises/smells. However everything was well kept and clean as it possibly could be. The couple of younh stable girls were sweet and delightful. The horses were gorgeous and we absolutely loved our stay.

Lovely location, very peaceful (didn’t even hear any farm noise unless windows were open). Plenty of parking & easy to find and enter. Had all the basics for a short stay such as tea bags, sugar, coffee and milk & biscuits in the fridge, also spotted shampoo in the bathroom drawer. WiFi was great/reliable and useful due to bad signal in the area, as to be expected. View of the horses out back was lovely & nice to be able to meet the horses in the stables below and stay to watch some dressage in the morning.

We ate at the 41 restaurant and both had separate meals I had spare ribs and chicken, My Wife had the nicest tasting steak pie I will have that next time. Breakfast was even better and plenty of it plus it was all very hot.

Beautiful building with lots of character features. Interesting place to stay. Room was huge - bigger than some flats! Black out curtains were brilliant. Very quiet to say it’s on a high street. Bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Much better than a modern hotel where every room is plain and boring. Good parking facility. Great location. Lovely accommodating staff. Breakfast was ok. Good selection.
Cosy Cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and had everything you could possibly need.
It was in a very quiet location, just a few minutes' walk to the beach.
There was also a pub called the Black Bull in the village. Drinks were very reasonable, and the staff were very friendly.
We really enjoyed our holiday and would stay here again.

The property was spotlessly clean, and ideal for a couple. The cottage had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. It is a great location for exploring the seadside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey. The Wolds are well worth exploring too and we enjoyed a visit to the Eden Camp museum. The pub in the village serves meals and the food is excellent.
The property was very clean, well equipped and homely for a family stay with dogs. It is in a lovely location thats very accessible to many places for visiting e.g. Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey, and York.
It has its own personal little enclosed front garden which was ideal for sitting in with the dogs without worrying about them getting out. Own parking space.
Friendly neighbours. We as a Family absolutely loved the cottage and I personally didnt want to leave. Will definitely be returning.
Great location, only a 10/15 minute walk to the beach and only a 15 minute drive to Bridlington or a half an hour drive to Filey. Hot tub was ready upon arrival and was very clean. The cabin was spotless and spacious enough for the 4 of us. Pub on site offered great food at a good price with lovely staff.
