Lovely location being so close to Farr Beach. The room was lovely and large, clean and the bed super comfortable. Dinner was really nice with plenty of choice. It was not rushed and the staff really helpful with questions for dietary requirements.

We loved our stay. Andy and Nigel renovated this old house but it still keeps its character with old door fittings, windows, twisted staircases. Our rooms was warm and comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The humorous interaction with the guests is great. The meals are delicious. We had two wonderful relaxing days there.

The glamping pods were set back off the road and situated in a garden area which included a fire pit area with seating and also a covered area which had a pizza oven. The pods themselves had a fridge, microwave, gas burner, kettle, toaster and utensils. There was a small bathroom which had a shower, sink and toilet but it was functional. The double bed was tucked in at the end of the pod. A small table and two chairs was also inside the pod with a further table outside on the decking area. Camping chairs were available if required to sit outside.
On site, Kevin has an old caravan which is used as an honesty shop, in there you will find all sorts of items which you may find yourself to be in need of such as extra burners, hairdryer, binoculars, wellies etc. He also has food items such as noodles or soups if you need them, which can be purchased. The money made from the honesty shop is donated to a charity which the owners decide yearly. The owner, Kevin, greeted us within a couple of minutes of calling him (as he was fixing a fence which had been damaged by a bull) and was an absolute delight to chat with, his trusty dog never far from his side. Kevin and his wife live on the property next door to the pods and are always available should the need arise. The information pack provided was also very informative and helpful.

Very clean and friendly, lovely location with great views. Breakfast was very nice and food in the restaurant for evening meal was very nice and reasonably priced.
Amazing Location, spotlessly clean, fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff who looked after us very well. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff work well as a team. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly and will definitely return.
The location is incredible, the view from the restaurant was fantastic. The room very clean and new, the staff nice also with the kids. The mood of the hotel is very warm and traditional.
Beautiful location, staff were very attentive, views stunning. Food was lovely.
Room comfortable - unfortunately not en-suite but bathroom very clean and close to room.
All food was very good and well presented. Dealt well with a gluten/dairy free diet. Spacious bedroom and very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Our golden retriever was made very welcome and could go into all public areas as well as our bedroom. Good location through the carpark for access to lovely beach, other walks, and Strathnaver Museum.
