Beautiful and spacious studio room. Excellent Full English Breakfast in the morning. We arrived late and left early as we were passing through the area from a long day in the Lake District and headed to Heathrow the next morning. Staff was prompt in responding to an email question regarding the process for late check-in. Staff was welcoming and showed us to our room upon arrival.

Modern accommodation and delicious menue. The owner is soooo friendly and helped me out with my European plugs problem and hundred questions :) In general everyone was very friendly, from the cleaning lady in the morning that made sure I had enough water to the waiters in the restaurants. Talking about the food my highlight was definitely the breakfasts (Avocado toast with poached egg and a porridge with fresh fruit, sooo good) I will definitely come back if I have to travel to Shepshed again.

Loved staying here checked in with the lock box seemless lovely decor nice cosey and spacious with the added touch of little breakfast snacks, petrol garage 5 minutes down the road for basics couldn't ask for any better. Close to East Midlands airport cheap taxi journey distance to Birmingham not bad either.

We absolutely loved staying at The Forge! We stayed in the Plucking Room and the bed was SO COMFY! The room was very well equipped and everything was thought of. The hot tub was AMAZING and Liz was very helpful and accommodating! Really good quality breakfast ingredients and very tasty home made treats. The area is lovely with two really nice pubs down the road. We 100% recommend and already booked again.
