The gite is equipped with absolutely everything that you could think of to help make your stay perfect. All the rooms are quite spacious and the two bedrooms both are en suite. It’s a very tranquil and calm place to stay. Heather (the gite owner) lives on-site but totally respects your privacy. Should you have any questions about the gite or local attractions etc, then you only have to ask, and she will go out of her way to kindly help answer your questions.

lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful lovely location, away from it all and with beautiful night skies. I live in the countryside but get nothing like that number of stars visible my friends and I had a lovely stay and it was great value for money fabulously located to the amazing restaurant Sandikala (although you will need to drive there) and conveniently located for trips in to the Pyrenees

Maison de Haouret exceeded all expectations. The property is spacious and very tastefully decorated. Our rooms were a really good size, with comfy beds and en suites. The use of a kitchen, living room and dining room downstairs, along with a lovely clean pool was great. Not only that, James and Lu are attentive hosts, great cooks and lovely people.

The inn was exceptionally clean. We were greeted late in the evening with a warm smile after a very long day. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The grounds surrounding the inn were well maintained and beautiful.

This is the place to stay if you are looking for genuine ' French Period' chic. The old family house has been beautifully done up and you are right in the middle of the town square in the charming small village of Galan, the hosts are very thoughtful and kind and the breakfast served outside is second to none. Definitely recommend over the other Le Clos, which I have also recently stayed at (unless having a swimming pool is important to you). There are 3 restaurants (one of which is a 3 Star Michelin) all within walking distance of your B and B.
