Great location, in a quiet and beautiful rural spot. The building is an old chapel so the room contained lovely arches and pointed windows. The room was huge - loads of room for all four of us. Our sons enjoyed the drum kit that was in the room. Lovely bathroom with an excellent shower. Friendly staff and lovely food in the restaurant. Good breakfast.
We liked the friendliness and attention of the staff. The hotel was very clean and the furnishings were excellent. We also appreciated having free parking and a lift.
Super location in an 11th century hermitage in Vielle Brioude. Our room ( Lafayette) had a wonderful view of the river valley below. The place has an olde world charm and quirkiness that we loved but that might not suit lovers of Ikea style. The room was enormous, with giant, really comfy bed and real parquet flooring. Jean, the host, was totally great - helpful, informative, and quite the joker! Breakfast was ample - good and tasty
