As we rather like solitude, we were looking for a nice place in a remote suburb of Lyon near the Beaujolais vineyards. What we found at Beatrice's was miles beyond our expectations. The hostess had created the perfect place to relax - first-class mattress, a large enough, well-maintained pool and a beautiful garden - which she filled with warmth, helpfulness, humour and, of course, great cakes from her oven for breakfast. Ideal location for all our trips - Lyon, Parc des Oiseaux, Pérouges. Time for breakfast was pre-agreed with the owner. Hot Pain au chocolat or Croissant together with jogurt, delicious jam and plenty of fruits. If we ever get back to Lyon area we know where we are going to stay!
Location and setting was great. The cabin itself was really nice and a nice change from a hotel. The staff on site were great and a large supermarket nearby to stock up on some supplies.
Great location in Trevoux, a charming little city. Our cottage was in first row with wonderful view of the Saone River. Friendly service at the reception.
