We promptly received a message welcoming us and giving more details about the stay and breakfast.
The host was welcoming and made us welcome upon arriving.
She also referred us to visit the bay. With our little time to catch the ferry we still make it and must say I didn't regret that.
The place looked great and really cosy and we enjoyed our night there.
Highly recommended.

The hosts were very pleasant. The evening meal was excellent. It was nice as a solo traveller to have a communal meal. Parking was secure. The village has enough of interest to pass a pleasant evening. Ooh, and really good pot of tea for breakfast.

A lovely place to stay. Friendly welcome and the bedrooms were perfect for our needs, clean and comfortable, quite small but this was not a problem, as we were only staying 1 night as a stopover before getting on the Le Shuttle the next day.
The setting is lovely with a large garden to sit in and there is an option of using a hot tub.
The breakfast was superb, a basic continental breakfast, but everything was fresh with the additional apple tart which was delicious. Couldn't fault it.
Overall a pleasant stay and we've bookmarked it to use again, we were even considering staying for a couple of nights next time to explore the area more.

Our fourth visit. Very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped room. A very good breakfast. La Ferme du Scardon is run by a charming, very welcoming couple - Elisabeth speaks reasonable English. It is situated very near the A16 motorway about an hour from Calais, which makes it an ideal stopover spot.
It was a very peacefully place to stay in the French countryside.

Excellent accommodation, very clean and tidy. Our host was fantastic, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble even when we arrived later than expected. Breakfast very good, lots of home made items. Definitely worth a visit
What a little gem. The room was very clean and tidy with a nice outlook on to the rear garden which had table, chairs and a parasol to enjoy the evening sun. There was an adjacent kitchen for guest use, if required. The breakfast was SUPERB with many choices home made by Elizabeth who spoke English. There are 3 restaurants in the adjacent town for an evening meal.

Very comfortable room. We had full use of the kitchen and dining area in a separate barn conversion as we were the only ones staying at the time. Two bedrooms in the main house would have been good alternatives too and slightly cheaper.
