Very comfortable room. We had full use of the kitchen and dining area in a separate barn conversion as we were the only ones staying at the time. Two bedrooms in the main house would have been good alternatives too and slightly cheaper. Lovely breakfast and the hosts were really friendly.

It was perfect. I booked it for work purposes. I am just sorry about the behaviour of some of my associates who damaged the pool snd told me that the pool was fine. I believe they have sorted the repair and costs.

Only difficulty was key code for lock box sent by email - we didnt have access to email whilst travelling and unaware it had been sent as the booking form stated we would be met by host. However, the host responded very quickly to our telephone call on arrival to let us into the property.

A very central Abbeville location, in a grand old building, right by the riverside. A free parking space was on the road just outside. Florence met me with the keys and gave plenty of info. There a five flats, all opposite her own residence. Mine was essentially ground floor, with a small kitchenette and bathroom on that level, and then a double bedroom on a mezzanine level. The decor is very modern, despite the age of the building. The shower was powerful and hot, and the bed very comfy. There was a small cooker, and microwave etc. in the kitchenette. and there were enough utensils and pans, should you want to cook (though not enough for complex meals!). The heating was on at a comfortable level. I didn't meet Joseph but Florence was very friendly and informative. It's also pet friendly (6 euros additional) so my big dog Colby was happy. I shall definitely stay again as it's well situated for the channel crossing and Abbeville is a sweet town.

Very quaint traditional French hotel, lots of character. Although I was expecting the breakfast to be included, it was charged at Euro15 per person. Having said that it was a very good continental breakfast and you can eat as much as you like. The food was fresh. The hotel does not provide dinner - but there are two very acceptable restaurants within 100m - we went to the Abbaye Cafe and the food was excellent
