Fantastic B&B. Great hosts, very welcoming. The location is set opposite the river and is very peaceful. Rooms are really big and the bed was perfect. The breakfast is lovely. Only a 5 minute walk to town. Looking forward to returning next year.

Magnificent! Everything was there when I arrived in the evening, cookies, sweeties, apples. In the morning, yogurts, orange juice, a full baguette with butter and several marmelades, a croissant, a chocolat bread! And the coffee, one of the best I ever tasted. Could not believe I was entitled to all this.

A beautiful building in a fantastic location by the river and town centre. Very easy parking nearby. The owners could not be more friendly or helpful. Our room had a balcony and stunning view of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Confolens and Chez Jack.

Fabulous spacious gite. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped with all home comforts. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely outdoor space to sit and eat if required plus access to a lovely deck by the river Vienne. Great location. Will definitely return.
We loved the location, exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful, tranquil village setting, a couple of minutes walk to the Vienne river. The house has been renovated beautifully and was spotlessly clean. It was very spacious and we appreciated the mix of old and new. The owner John was very clear with communication and was available to contact if we had any queries, which was really helpful. He was also accommodating with a later checkout due to our late flight departure which we very much appreciated.

Lovely views over the river. Good central location. Parking outside on the road was pretty easy and free. Friendly staff made us feel welcome (although limited English speakers but that's half the fun of travelling). There's a bar that opens onto the street which was nice to sit outside and have a drink at.
Great little studio, the location right in the centre of Confolens is ideal and easy to find, there is parking right outside and the sports cafe just next door which serves food during the day and on and evening Friday and Saturday. The double studio that we had was really well equipped with a little kitchenette, everything you need for a few days. Very clean and comfortable, especially with the air con, which was great during August's heat. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return.
