Very accommodating and friendly hosts. It was a little difficult to find but really lovely once there. We were on bikes so the hosts drove us to a local store for dinner supplies. Delicious homemade yogurt and cakes for breakfast.

Great location just mins from the beautiful castle. very cosy apartment. perfect for our one night stay. we arrived very late at night and had great communication with the host with regards to instructions on keys and check out procedure. Having arrived only at midnight it was rather a very short stay given that check out is at 10am.

The apartment was very big and had all the necessary amenities in the kitchen including a little oven which is rarely provided in France. It has a direct and facing view on the Loire river which is about 100m away. There is a nice walking trail along the river. It is also walking distance from the Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle. Finally, the host checked-in on us to make sure everything was fine and also gave us a little welcome gift which was a nice gesture.

Lovely little gite in a traditional French village. Private parking for one car in a gated courtyard & a lovely outside seating area. Very quiet & peaceful location The château, village amenities & river are all within a short walk. Also a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. A couple of supermarkets & a vineyard just a 5 minute drive away Elisabeth is a lovely host & even shared her birthday cake with us. Brush up on your French though as she doesn't speak any English, we managed ok & one of her young sons helped out too😊
