This is a place like no other I've been to before. It is first of all a place that connects you to the history of the region and mostly the story and life of its people. We slept in what used to be a laundry room for the families of miners who lived in Cité des Électriciens. The contrast between the calm and comfort of our beautiful accommodation and the harsh lives of the people around here in the past was striking (and not lost on us!).
Everyone we talked to was very friendly and helpful as well.

Very convenient and excellent and secure carpark. Close to a number of good eateries and bars. Really good breakfast with nice bread and fresh orange juice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in a great location only 55mins from the Eurotunnel so easy in the morning for our return to the UK. The parking was easy and right outside. There were lots of restaurants within easy walking distance.
Room / bed was very good for a budget hotel, had a great sleep. Had everything you would need for a nights sleep. The room was very clean, we was very happy with it. The location was really good, not too far off the motorway, perfect for mid trip stop.

It’s in a convenient location, an hour from Calais. Located on a business park on the outskirts of Béthune area, which has supermarkets and other retail outlets within a mile or so. It’s *very* quiet over night. The checking in is easy even when reception is closed between 11:00 and 17:00. The room is basic but very clean. The toilet is behind a door in the room, but the shower is behind a privacy curtain, which is adequate.
