Room lovely spacious and well appointed with a view of the river although in the building over the road from the main hotel.
Breakfast good in nice situation looking out on the gardens and river. We ate in the bistro which was good.
We were lucky to get free parking next to the hotel.

Beautifully tranquil setting - horses in the field, cats in the garden, a friendly young collie in the house, squirrels - all presided over by the warmest, kindest hostess I have ever met.
A large comfortable room, a spacious shower room with plenty of hot water, and a delicious breakfast.
The property is an easy drive to Brantôme where there are numerous eating options and well worth a visit or two.
We were sorry to leave, but will definitely return.

Tranquil, beautiful meadow, lovely tents with facilities provided and welcoming hosts. Tents were well presented and bedding was warm and comfortable. The resident cats were very friendly.

Very stylish, spacious, and comfortable studio apartment in a convenient location on a quieter back street of town. Excellent modern shower with hot water and rainfall shower head. Wi-Fi speed surprisingly exceptional!
Absolutely spot on, perfect location right next to the river. Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless with a lovely en-suite wetroom. Luckily the bar was open on the afternoon of our stay to enjoy a drink in the seating area overlooking the river.
everything was excellent, beautiful property, very clean, very quiet in an excellent location. Isabelle the owner was extremely helpful including suggestions of where to visit in the Dordogne. I would highly recommend staying at L’escapde.
Gorgeous room in a classic French style. Very clean. Comfortable mattress. Friendly staff who really look after you and are more than willing to help with our poor french language skills by being patient and speaking English. The food was incredible. The location is stunning and we loved sitting out on the terrace to eat.
