4 of us, while planning a Euro trip sitting in Calcutta, had decided to include Seville as a part of our trip. Funny that this happened in 2022, but we actually ended up booking Larry's place in Utrera, a good 30 kilometers from Seville, thinking that this place is in Seville (looking at you Booking.com - you misled us, but no complaints this once). Seville didn't happen, but Serendipity surely did. We reached Casa Campon from Seville airport early in the morning, but our check in time was 2PM. We don't speak Spanish, and in this quiet little Andalusian town, hardly anyone speaks English. So making a religious use of Google Translate, we convinced Larry to let us in to keep our bags. Him and Carmen, the co host were the most helpful and jovial person we had the fortune of coming across in the entire trip, who with utmost patience helped us understand that we're quiet far away from Seville and told us about the ways to reach the place. All of this happened before we checked in to the room itself. Larry meanwhile had offered us a few rounds of drink and showed us around his own place. One would seriously want to hang out with this guy all day just to listen to him talk - and he doesn't even speak our language. Finally we got into our rooms - which were beautiful and beautifully maintained. Two rooms, one had a master bed and one a smaller bed. A fridge decked up with beer and water. A meatsafe with Bread and coldcuts all waiting for the occupants to finish. A bathroom with hot shower, etc - basically everything one needs. You can walk all across the town, which looks right out of a 90's Enrique Iglesias music video, from this place. It's as picture perfect as it can get. Seriously, we just wished we could spend one more day at this beautiful house and this beautiful town.

They helped me greatly with directions to restaurants and other places of interest in Seville and Utrera, and went above and beyond their duties to help with a delayed bag.
