Morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the valley was very special. We had both lunches at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. A comfortable room with great views. But one of the best things were the staff. So friendly, helpful and happy even though it was obvious they were working very hard.

It is a delightfully interesting & well kept historic basque family Ostatua in an outstanding location above the remarkable Arantzazu sanctuary. The paths up to the mountain pastures pass the front door. Food service accommodation & facilities were superb, but the place has something magical above all.

We had a great time here at this very scenic location. Although we booked a basic room, there was a fantastic view out to the mountains from the small balcony. The room on the smaller side but was neat and tidy and excellent value. We ate at other restaurants for dinner but the breakfast was good and reasonable value.
