This is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Everything is beautifully thought out and designed in the bedrooms. The public rooms are wonderful with lovely antiques and objects d’art. The setting is gorgeous on a lake with atmospheric mountain backdrop.
The property is very remote so the night sky must be magnificent on a clear night - unfortunately it was cloudy the one night we stayed.
The host is very attentive and generous and overall it was a fantastic place. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend it for lone travellers like us, but I think it would be ideal for larger groups as well (large family gatherings, corporate events, etc).
