It was a very nice and welcoming host waiting for us. Beautiful view from a very nice house on the top of the mountains. We could reach very nice places from the location even Switzerland in one hour. The place is far better and bigger than how is shown in the photos. A very quiet and green place to disconnect you. We were a family of 5 and even our dog was welcome.

It was so nice to be out of the mainstream and out in the countryside. The mountains, springs, hills and forest trails are magical. We loved looking out our window and seeing the horses, cows, goats, sheep and chickens. Marcus and his wife are so kind and accommodating and the kids are very friendly and helpful too. There is a washer and tumble dryer on site. The black out shades are the best I’ve ever used.

The house is situated in a stunning and beautiful area - surrounded by nature which gives a sense of tranquillity. Perfect for getting away from it all. Claudia was a super host, contacting us beforehand to wish us a wonderful trip and doing the same when we left. The house has all the facilities for a weekend or more. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the house has blinds - 100% a relaxing night's sleep with the plus of waking up to an amazingly beautiful view of the mountains. The host had left us some lovely treats on arrival and some information on activities and places to visit! We were 100% delighted with our stay and couldn't recommend it more.

Perfect locality, very queit with a view of surrounding hills, yet close to a city (about 2 km). Very friendly host. Apartment is spacious and comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking basically any dish. Everything was clean and working, there were no problems at all.

Amazing, helpful and friendly owners. Our kids have such a great time feeding the goats and playing with the dog Amy!! Fantastic kitchen with Office, big bedrooms, comfortable beds. A well looked after beautiful warm hotel located near the shops and restaurants, in a quiet town of Black Forest, with exceptional kind and generous staffs. Breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned. We were very touched by their hospitality on several occasions, one example was when we left our luggage behind and they went beyond their way to make sure the luggage was returned to us. Truly an unforgettable stay.

The forest room was an absolut delight: clean, spacious, bright, lovely decoration, great bathroom, colours... The staff was helful and assisting at any time needed. The little town of Wolfach is totally worth a visit and from the accomodation there are a few hiking routes. Despire being close to the railways, it was totally quiet at night. I cannot wait to get back for a longer time. Oh, and the parking is right opposite to the hotel!
