We loved out stay in this cute town and hotel. The owner is very kind and makes you feel welcome. Don’t miss his food for dinner. He is Michelin star quality chef! Amazing food! Beautiful, spacious rural apartment in the Black Forest region where it was easy to relax and unwind. There is a lovely deck with sweeping views. The well stocked kitchenette allowed us to prepare a meal or two in. The bathroom shower was amazing. We walked to Schiltach via forest paths in ~1 hour with options for extended hiking if you please.

The location is really nice - not in the town center, but not too far away from it. Therefore, you don't have a lot of noise from the area. In addition, the facilities inside the property were also very nice. All in all, a very nice place to stay. I would go back if I were to stay in Schiltach.
