Had a few days to fill in Germany between flights and wanted to go somewhere I hadn't been, Spremberg proved to be an excellent choice. The property is on the edge of the town and an easy walk from the railway station set in a very peaceful location. Excellent well furnished apartment with a large kitchen and bathroom and a good bedroom / sitting room with a table and sofa (more rooms available for bigger groups but I did not see these). I cooked happily for myself while staying at the apartment which was well appointed with utensils. I especially liked the crate of assorted drinks, beer, water juice available on a buy by bottle basis, saved carrying heavy bottles. There is a terrace area at the front for use of guests, probably especially good in the summer. Very friendly helpful proprietors.

The apartment is small but it was perfect for our needs. We only stayed one night, but wished that we had booked two, even though Spremberg is some distance from where we wanted to spend the days on either side of our overnight stay (the Spreewald). Quiet, cosy, very clean, tastefully decorated, well-equipped. Stefanie was very helpful when we called her to say we'd arrived. Would recommend!
