Truly exceptional stay in romantic medieval castle which is a bit abandoned but currently being brought back to it's previous beauty with a lot of love (and respect to it's history). We liked the following things about the property: The rooms were a good size, especially the family room; The linen was of good quality; The rooms were supplied with oral hygiene packs, shampoo, body wash and lotion, complimentary water, quiet, the heating kept the rooms at a comfortable temperature during our winter stay. Close to several village amenities. The staff were friendly, helpful and made you felt welcomed . The breakfast offered several selections of fresh breads, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit, cereals, and plenty of coffee.
