We saved the best for last. Our stay at Casa Nativo was the highlight of our Colombia trip. Not only the stunning architecture and surroundings (we never saw so many different exotic birds as we did here) but mainly the lovely and caring personalities of Daniela, her mother Ana and Diana. It's a bit like spending time with family. In our entire trip, the beautiful terrace overlooking the jungle is where we found the most peace and felt closest to nature. We also visited the coffee finca of the parents of Diana up the hill. We would come back to Colombia only to stay at this magical place!

The hotel's location is not only safe for keen walkers but Sebastian can also arrange a rickshaw for convenient transportation. The cost of 7 GB pounds or 8 dollars per hour for a rickshaw is reasonable. Overall, the hotel offers a peaceful and beautiful retreat, and I highly recommend it.
