The comfort, easy going nature, the people coming in and out, handiness of staying there when in Nelson, heat of the room, the manager Cindy was fantastic with everything and so was Kelly who worked there for anything I needed during my stay - made to feel very comfortable staying especially for the first time in a hostel. Beautiful grounds, owners very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a really nicely renovated suite. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Our twins loved playing on the jungle gym on the grounds and while they slept we took in the beautiful views with a bottle of wine from the large communal deck area! When we forgot our iPad charging in the room after check out, the owner kindly called us and offered to mail it to us. Highly recommend!
