I loved everything about this stay. Its a huge family home, ran by the family. - Ive received a double room instead of a single one just because it happened to be free - At arrival the staff was wery kind and welcoming. Although my german is not really good they were patient and slow so I could understand everything. - Loads of parking spaces - Quiet road - Clean room and well prepared: nice sheets, soap included, multiple towels, paper tissues, water and glasses - Nice area with a huge and awesome garden. Two really friendly dogs and bunnies added to the "austrian dorf" experience - Breakfast home made by the owners with local meat and cheese products and local fresh vegetables and fruits. The fruits were my favourite they were really delicious mixed with their home made muesli. They offered to also prepare a take away box for me as I was the last guest to have breakfast.

This is just a wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, very spacious, exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Friendly owner. Quiet location. And then there is your own private stream. To sit in the afternoon, in the sun, with a drink, just listening to the stream & the birds. Life doesn't get much better.

Braumeisterhaus is right next to the brewery Schloss Eggenberg - an exceptional location, especially for those who love beer. The house is spacious and tastefully furnished with lots of attention to details. We felt very welcome and well looked after. Vorchdorf is easily reachable by car or public transport and even has its own unique tram connection to Gmunden. We enjoyed the numerous lakes, large and small, and day hikes in the surrounding valleys.

The overall stay exceeded our expectations. We travelled with a 10 m+ and a 5 y old and the Gastehaus was excellent for our family. The owners are very kind people, doing everything to make your stay comfortable. They provided us with a kettle for the baby, extra diaper bin, helped with info etc. Breakfast was lovely, room was big enough for a family of 4, big bathroom, comfortable beds, spotless clean! Spacious parking as well. The gasthaus is near right next to the main road so you can t move anywhere without a car so better to keep that in mind. It’s about 25 min drive to Attersee lake, about 35 to Mondsee lake. You can go on foot only to have a walk near the river nearby. All in all, a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and kind. They go out of their way to accommodate guests. Our room was clean and comfortable and there’s a kitchenette available for guests. Great location, free parking are a huge bonus.
