Etmissl was a lovely small village to stay in. The people there were all very friendly. We got lucky and stumbled upon a Maypole celebration that was incredible to watch. The meals in the restaurant were spectacular (e.g. wild garlic ravioli with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce or the lake trout on a bed of stinging nettle risotto). We ate there twice in two days. And one of the owners made a point of coming over to us during the Maypole celebration to explain what the tradition was all about for them.

The place is cozy, comfortable and clean. All what you can expect. The surroundings are stunning and incredibly quiet. The room was quite big so my kid had in his own bedroom. Price / quality never disappointed. Breakfast was delicious, hand made everyday by the owner. We speak Spanish and English and can't speak a word in German, but the owner was very patient and we managed on how to communicate each other.

The apartman was perfectly clean. The dishes in the kitchen were clean as well. There was no dirt whatsoever. The hosting family were nice and friendly people. They offered us many tips and information. The town Aflenz is located in a beautiful nature with healthy air and sound trees.

It is a lovely, spacious, comfortable apartment with friendly and helpful hosts. Our dog was also welcomed, and she liked the place, too. The steps may be steep for smaller dogs, but it was easily manageable for ours. Excellent hiking trails are within easy reach by car, and there are good walks near the house for the dog.
