We had a wonderful time at the Dörrmühle. Veronika and Karl were very thoughtful hosts, helping us with ideas for trips and how best to organise them. We loved staying in the old mill which has delightful views of the surrounding hills and forest. The location is excellent, with Vienna, Melk, Mariazell and the Ötscher Nature Park within easy reach. We loved our trip on the Mariazellerbahn and our Danube River cruise. We also enjoyed walking in the hills around Texing. Overall a lovely stay. We would recommend the Dörrmühle and Veronika and Karl's hospitality to anyone.

The hotel is located in a quiet place between wonderful mountains. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and the selection sufficient. The food tasted great. I especially liked the possibility of dining outside. The owners of the hotel were very friendly, helpful and gave good advice. Truly a wonderful place, in a beautiful little town, owned by wonderful people. We were met with such kindness and great service. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The restaurant is amazing with great food and service and the owners went above and beyond to make our short stay amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.
