Reading the reviews I had my doubts to book here, but the price and the location were convenient to us. Once we get here I was very pleasant surprised about it. It's true that it is not modern and the equipment is old, but everything was clean and the breakfast even basic, was enought. We had dinner as well, very good and not expensive.
The location of the hotel is very quiet. There are free parking spots in front of the hotel. Wifi works well but you need to ask for the password, your can't find it in the room.
Very clean. Comfortable beds. The food is tasty. Yes, the furniture is old, but in my opinion it represents their aesthetic! It doesn’t smell bad and everything is functional, so the old furniture just adds to its “old” vibe!
As I mentioned before. The hotel "Ungaische Krone" is small, I trust family business, hotel where all is devoted to guest satisfaction. While it is not most new or bleeding edge interior, still it is very clean and neat.
The host was waiting for me near the apartment. He was very hospitable, prepared us watermelon, wine and water, and helped us book a table in a very good restaurant.
The apartments are very very very big, and you have here whatever you need.
Great location in center and about 20 min from Wien Airport and about 35 min Bratislava Airport.
