I stayed at Guesthouse Mesec Zaplana for one night on my 10 day trip around the exceptionally beaufitul country of Slovenia. The Guesthouse is located a short distance from the town of Vrhnika and is located in a quiet village. My double room was basic but very clean and comfortable. The food, both evening meal and self-serve buffet breakfast, were excellent and good value for money. Guesthouse Mesec Zaplana is highly recommended for an overnight stay in this part of Slovenia.
This hotel occupies several floors of a large villa that is situated on the banks of the Ljubljanica River. The location is perfect as this is where all the restaurants and bars are located on both sides of the river. We had a river view from our rooms window, yet it was very quiet. The room was large and comfortable. We absolutely would stay here again.
Other than a few lottle things, we really liked our stay. Tastefully designed apartment. It was a great experience staying there. It's in a calm area in the outskirt of the city. The place has almost everything one might need on a short term trip and the kitchen was really well-equipped. We enjoyed the minimalistic and open space in the house and the back yard. The check in and check out was easy and our host was helpful. I would like to stay there some other time.
Best B&B to stay around Ljubljana. Situated in a lovely village only 15 minutes by car from city center, this pansion offers a great value for money accomodation especially for road trippers. Above all we have to give credits to the host who really impressed us with his kindness and hospitality. In days of auto check in this is quite remarkable. I am the chair of a road trip club in Greece and I absolutely recommended it for travellers. Thank you very much for everything and we will be there soon again that's for certain.
This was a comfortable stay at a location convenient.for a day visit to Ljubljana. The restaurant was closed the day we arrived but we had a very good pizza in the village. Breakfast was very attentive.
I recently stayed at Villa Selena and had a wonderful experience. The villa exudes a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff, especially Ana, were incredibly hospitable. Its proximity to the city center makes it ideal for exploring local attractions and dining options, yet it remains a peaceful retreat. The rooms are modern, clean, and feature very comfortable beds. I highly recommend Villa Selena for its superb location, friendly service, and excellent accommodations. Whether visiting for business or leisure, it’s a perfect choice.
The hosts were amazing, communication was very easy and they gave us good advise to reach the property. Even on a rather cold days we could enjoy the fireplace, grill outdoors, sauna and jacuzzi. We had a very nice and relaxing stay after weeks being on the road The property has all amenities we needed and was very clean and well maintained. WiFi worked perfectly despite of being a small village.
Excellent location to visit the city center quickly and still have a quiet neighbourhood. Extraordinarily helpful staff, excellent communication, truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had in the past few years. Minca & Zala helped me with every request I made, and I greatly enjoyed the concept of the place. Extremely clean, though slippers would be recommended as the floors are a bit cold. Perfect for a short term stay, I will certainly return for my next trip to Ljubljana.
