Arnold is an amazing host and provides you with all the information you need to enjoy the city(restaurants, activities, transport etc.). The breakfast (banana pancakes is amongst the options!) was the best we had during our trip!

At the bed and breakfast, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. The staff were so helpful and attentive. Amani was a wonderful host and thoughtfully took care of every detail. He even offered to come and get me in town if I was lost and needed help finding my way. The spice cake at tea time was also a highlight❤️

This beachfront property offers access to a patio. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Excellent location, excellent hosts (Masha and Harrison), extremely scrumptuous food. You feel at home. Extreme tranquility on Manda Island, away from the hustle and bustle. Hard to beat.

With pool views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Each room is equipped with a patio with city views. Andavelo House far exceeded my expectations. The place is beautifully finished, with very large rooms, extremely comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a cool and pleasant sitting area downstairs. The plunge pool provided a welcome antidote to the heat. The staff were amazing, with Safari seeing to my every need, and Abu producing fresh and delicious meals. A real refuge.

Kijani Hotel is located in Shela Village, just 3 km from Lamu Old Town and 4 km from Manda Airport. Takwa Prehistoric Site is 10 km away on Manda Island. The location can not be beat, but the pool and court yard stole the show

The property features garden and sea views, a barbecue, and free WiFi is available. My stay in Lamu was truly amazing. The open space and perfect climate felt like paradise. I never wanted to get up from the hammock. Kamala, Jacky, and Jamil were great hosts, offering plenty of support throughout my stay. Although I was tempted to try other dining options, I found myself obsessed with the fantastic food served here. It was an incredibly relaxing and memorable holiday, and I hope to return again in the future.

First, even before we arrived, communication with the host (Tarik) was impeccable. We always felt we were in good hands and that rang true from the moment we arrived especially with the housekeeper Farid who was absolutely excellent and was on top of every need we might have. I should take a moment also to say that the space itself is STUNNING. Absolutely gorgeous with many, many beautiful details. Truly a hidden gem of Lamu.
