Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. The hostel offers hot-spring baths, free Wi-Fi and 3 lounges. The location was very central. You can get to a Lawson or 7eleven in about 5 minutes. There are many little Izakayas around and also some restaurants. The staff was very nice and their english was very good (for western travellers). As it was my 1st time in an Onsen i dont know if others can be better but it was very comfortable. Also was i allowed in there with tattoos on both arms. The guest room was a little bit small but we didnt mind at all. We could fit in there with our whole luggage so it was fine. They also had a nice guest area where you could talk and exchange stories with others. All in all it was very pleasant stay and i can recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Japan. Thank you.

Everything was amazing!!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 27 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The holiday home has family rooms. The view from the hotel is very nice, located near the sea and easy to access. It was spacious and clean, with all necessary facilities which made the stay very comfortable. The host was also very welcoming, and the information provided on booking were matching reality. In summary, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.

The property is located on an uphill route, and we would not have been able to walk there from the station. They arranged to pick us up and send us off upon our arrival and departure. Mr. Kim extended us a bonus service when he drove us out for dinner as well. The resturant he had recommended was a real treat! They really made us feel at home and comfortable. The in-house onsen was clean and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was peaceful despite that many students were being hosted at the same time. The kitchenette had both cold and hot beverages for guests. The breakfast was simple but filled us with warmth. I highly recommend this place!
