The accommodation is a house with private rooms but also rooms for all guests to share (e.g. kitchen or living room). The house is pretty remote but this is also what makes it special: Apart from a few animals and wind, there is only silence around you which makes it easy to calm down and relax. The host offered a warm welcome and showed us the house which also has a fully equipped kitchen.

There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The bungalow was very comfortable and cosy, located in the woods. Fairytale and very romantic place. There is a queen size bed, video option with movies, table and small kitchen inside. The bathroom was enough big. We will recommend for dinner the Eyri restaurant on the lake, only 10 minutes away from the property. It´s a gourmet one (higher price level) but all very tasty with an excellend wine choice. Near Akureyri we will highly recommend also to visit the Forest Lagoon (thermal baths).
