Smiley also organized a great volcano hike and our ride to Bukit Lawang, and we also learned about the local culture and history! We can say we got the whole experience.

Nachelle Homestay is a 5-minute drive from Peceren Village where guests can see traditional Batak Karo houses. Lumbini Buddhist Temple is a 10-minute drive away, while Sipiso Piso Waterfall is 50 minutes' drive away. It takes 3 hours by car to reach the property from Kuala Namu International Airport. Absolutely loved my stay there! Mery, the owner, went above and beyond for me. She took the time to sit down and draw me a map of the town with interesting touristic and local points. She also arranged to have my laundry done in under 24h since I was in a big rush. Mery continued to help me even after I was gone - I messaged her two days later to arrange a transportation and she helped me. The room in itself was very comfortable, with hot water and good AC. The rooftop view of the city was a perk! Finally, the banana pancake for breakfast was delicious ☺️

This is a beautiful property and without doubt the most luxurious and well maintained property in the area. It is an escape from the busy market town, somewhere to just relax after a day exploring. We were delighted to find such a large well appointed and luxurious villa with great staff. The owner was able to accommodate a request for breakfast and organise dinners for us also (at extra cost) which was great. This property very much has an international feel to it in the way they look after you. We had not planned to spend so much time in the villa but it was so good we spend more time in than out.
