Aird Uig
Situated in Aird Uig, 36 km from Callanish Standing Stones, SEAcroft Licensed B&B and Restaurant features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. The property features garden views. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Very lovely seapods where you can drift to sleep to the sound of the waves against the shore and cliffside, and see wildlife like deer right at your doorstep (if you’re lucky). The seapod had everything we needed and was so cosy. There was a very strong sense of community where ingredients for dinner were sourced from the island itself, with some grown at their own croft, and others like scallops handpicked in partnership with the local divers - therefore all very fresh. The best part of our stay was, without a shadow of doubt, Sarah - the most friendly, helpful, funny host. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped into the dining area, shared with us so much knowledge and tidbits about the island, and when I stupidly left some personal items back at the property, she was so responsive, assuring and meticulous to get them back safely to me. The experience staying with SEAcroft was sublime, and worth every penny and car mileage.

We stayed two nights on a small-group tour, and it was easy for the van to drop us off and pick us up. A beautiful cosy quiet cottage. All you could ask for in a holiday home. A great base for exploring the islands.
The cottage was exceptionally clean and very well equipped, probably the best kitchen we’ve had in a holiday cottage in terms of things you might need! Also a lovely welcome hamper.
Really beautiful holiday house with great facilities, clean and well set out
Fantastic stay at a beautiful home. Felt like we were staying in a gorgeous holiday home of friends! The home was immaculate with lovely welcoming touches. Our hosts were easy to contact and had left lots of helpful and informative literature about the local area. The location in Carloway was close to the Callanish standing stones and the blackhouse village, and a great central location to access other parts of the island.
House was beautifully kept, with lots of unexpected homely touches. Excellent kitchen setup, hot water beds etc. Location was also excellent. As a walker I found the Broch, stone circles, black house village, Coastal walk and sandy beach were all within reach. Others will wish to drive of course but there’s lots to visit close by in both directions.
Spacious and well equipped villa, sleeps 7 , with 2 bathrooms. Good central heating and helpful owner.
The house was very comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent, handy for Stornoway. The village was quiet and very well kept, everyone was very friendly. David was an excellent host helping with information about the places we planned to visit. We would recommend staying here to anyone thinking of visiting the Outer Hebrides.
The kitchen was well equipped and was able to use it for the meals that we ate there. it is a very spacious property and you do not have to share everything that you like to do if you have different tastes. The village store and post office were very friendly and it has the cheapest fuel on the island
Absolutely everything. The thoughtful welcoming touches like.fresh flowers fresh eggs milk and biscuits. Lovely decor. Amazing kitchen with literally everything you could think or. Books games dvds. The garden was amazing for the dogs and sitting birdwatching. This is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in.
