Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. Located in the centre of the island, Bowmore Distillery is less than a 10-minute drive away. Lovely room, bed was extremely comfortable. This place felt like an upscale hotel. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were extremely gracious, friendly and made us feel at home. If we come back to Islay we will definitely be staying here again.

The bed and breakfast features garden views and a sun terrace. Loch Gorm is a very comfortable, cosy house (despite the atrocious weather) and we were made to feel completely at home. The location (on the water’s edge) was perfect for our trip, and a short drive from the ferry at Port Askaig. Fiona, our host, was lovely, and always checking that we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were magnificent!
