Beautiful, peaceful setting, near the vines, with views of the mountains. Lovely outside sitting area with braai. The lounge and bedroom were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had extras like real coffee and biscotti. Our dog felt very much at home with a lovely big dog cushion provided. Anabela was very friendly and helpful. Villa Katarina is well located, the room is very clean and the property has views. The owner is very friendly, efficient and everything worked. Good sleep quality and quiet.... All good and recommend this place.
Food was excellent, including the breakfasts. The location is also excellent, right in the middle of the village and close to (but not next to) the main road. Better than either of these were the staff, who were uniformly kind and helpful. I felt very welcome in this hotel. I was upgraded to a lovely room.

A tranquil establishment with an Italian villa feel absolutely fell in love. It was only a one night stay for a wedding in Riebeeck Kasteel but I will definitely be back. The hosts are polite, friendly and very accommodating.
