Incredible Homestay! If you want nature, culture and beauty come to Bac Ha and stay with Huy Trang and his lovely family. I can highly recommend the day hike, the river boat (I didn’t even know this was an activity in this region and we boated, swam in crystal clear water and caves), and sunset walk. we had an amazing stay in the ‘lovely’ room, which has garden and mountain views. We were lucky enough to be there when the the pomelo were in bloom, so our room smelled like blossoms! Clean, quiet and hosted by a beautiful family. Go to Bac Ha and stay with Huy Trung - you won’t regret it!

We ate with the family but they also have a menu if you prefer, the owner also took us to see a local distillery. The pool is crystal clear. We extended our stay because it was soo good.

We had an amazing stay at Song’s family. The house is located in the middle of the rice fields with a breathtaking view on the mountains. Song and his family are super welcoming, you really feel home. We were travelling with one small child and one baby and Song made everything possible to make it easy for us with the kids. He organised child-friendly day trips in the region which were experiences we will never forget, making us discover the people of the region and how they live. We always had dinner with Song and his family at the home stay and the food was absolutely delicious. We came as guests and left as friends and are still in contact with Song. I can only recommend this place !
