    Booked for 2 nights but opted to do 1 night in the desert and another at Africa Roots Hotel both were excellent experiences. We were picked up from Lompoul village by the hosts to the desert as we had travelled by taxi. The desert tent had nice decor inside and I also liked the design of the outside toilet. We went for a camel walk which was great.Otherwise spent sometime walking. Meals were superb. Lastly but not least I would like to thank the staff as they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

    Great location, nice and organised staff, decent food, day and night scenery are beautiful. We stayed 2 nights which made for a super perfect relaxing weekend. Went for a night walk on the dunes to watch the sky it is spectacular. Loved the outdoor private shower/toilet. They pick you up and drive you back to the parking in Lompoul village. No electricity in the bedrooms but you can charge your phone in the main tent (no hot water in showers). Good enough phone/data reception (for emails). Bring a book and enjoy relaxing.

    Cool lodge in the desert. Free transfer from Lompoul village. Beds were comfortable. Mosquito net was provided. There was even a shower. The staff was very friendly. Dinner was very good.

    Amazing tent on the border of the desert. The staff comes to get you in the village of Lompoul, to get to the camp by 4x4.
