Everything. Rooms immaculately clean. We stayed in two ten days apart. The hosts were more than hospitable letting me practice my Portuguese on them even though they spoke perfect English. Wonderful location, a few minutes walk from the Tagus promenade. Caring staff, everything is thought out to the smallest detail for the convenience of guests. Entrance to the house and apartment is by code, which is also very convenient. It's quiet at night.

Great location , 10 min walk to Gaia and across the upper level of the bridge to Porto . Tram stop was just outside the building and a supermarket was across the road .

I liked the unique experience. I liked Captain Anselmo and his charisma. It could have gone wrong when some challenges with the underside of the boat arose, but the fabulous team at Diamantedouro made sure I had a comfortable, enjoyable experience on the boat. They were attentive to all details and available to give a tour. The check-in and checkout were totally smooth, and I'm extremely happy with my choice to stay here. I appreciated the arrival drinks that were prepared, and I just loved the hot plate on the boat. It heated up faster than any other similar type of appliance I've ever used. Great views and great surroundings. Absolutely spectacular!

We had a great stay in this apartment in a small village close to Porto. It is perfect to have a calm place to relax. We slept well. You can enjoy the beach as well as going to Porto.
The breakfast was very good with good coffee, different kinds of bread, sweets and fresh fruit.
The location of the hotel was great, close to the local fish village with great restaurants. The hotel was located on the top of a hill, so we have had the best view to sunset.
Super place. Staff were super lovely. Rooms are spacious, all with a film theme. Close to the beach and the fishing village, which has some great spots to eat and drink. Train station 5 minutes walk to get you into Porto, or to head south. Great walks b6 the beach.
Location was great for fishing village, Bianca was the only friendly person, the staff seemed bored because the ship was not busy at all, only 10 other people on board. Rooms were ok.
Nothing - the first & last personal telephone contact with the rental company who handles thus villa was at the time of key handover. Afterwards even though so many times I tried to reach someon by phone was not possible.
A small house, extremely clean, furnished with attention to detail. The Douro is right on the doorstep. The road along the river is a bit noisy. But bearable with the windows closed. The environment in the old fishing village is stunning, on every corner there is a small pub with charcoal grills on the street...
The apartment is well appointed, with comfortable furniture. Having an outdoor deck to sit out on and relax was a real bonus. The location in the Fishing Village gives you a real feel for the place, with the cooking and conversation surrounding you. Love the restaurants, the coffee shops, the fish market and the marina, the walkways along the river.
We had a car and bikes. Was a fabulous location in the old fishing village!! Our balcony overlooked the street which was perfect. The neighbourhood felt authentic and there was easy access to Porto and all the main sites. Cool modern well laid out suite
A small hotel located perfectly for visiting all the Port-wine cellars in Villa Nova de Gaja and also for Porto old town. The central station in Porto is just a 25 minute walk away.
At the hotel we had a very warm welcome, the staff is great and the breakfast very nice and cosy. The rooms provide more than enough space to stay a week and everything is nice and clean. The hotel is located a couple hundred meters away form the busy main road so it is nicely silent most of the time especially over night.
HIGHLY recommend!!!
The location is smack bang in the middle of the action in Porto's famous Gaia district, very close to the World of Wine Centre. Can't think of a better place in all Villa Nova Gaia. Facilities are top notch. This is the only accomodation at this price point I ever visited with such great mood lighting.
