It is a little cold due to mountainous location. However, there is enough blanket and warmer if required. It has a very good location to stay if you travel in this area. Cozy two bedroom apartment. The location was great for exploring the mountain areas. The unit was warm even in cold winter weather. We parked outside the restaurant. Easy check-in with lockbox, and hosts were very friendly, communitive and responsive. Lots of information available for the local area. Including good tip to buy fresh bread from the local bakers that drive through the little village. We will stay there again when in Serra da Estrella.

We stayed here for 6 weeks and we absolutely loved it! The home is very nice and comfortable. All is like in the pictures. The bed is very big and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped: it is easy to cook full meals. The location is ideal, tucked away from the bustle of the city but still close enough to get to shops and supermarkets easily (about 5-10 minutes by car). The Internet is very fast and stable and the top floor is perfect for working. The views from the apartment are breathtaking. The village is absolutely charming and locals are very nice and friendly. The hosts are the most welcoming hosts we've ever had. We greatly appreciate and are very thankful for everything. We travel a lot and this is definitely one of the best accommodations either for a short or long stay. We had an absolutely fantastic time at this rental!

Absolutely perfect quite mountain retreat with amazing breakfast, incredible views, awesome hiking trails, and very friendly staff. I could easily spend a month here in the summer time.
