We had a small (but quite adequate) double room with private bathroom sharing the top floor of a beautiful stone building. It was comfortable and clean.

Lovely Quinta in a lovely position on the outskirts of Pinhao. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were really nice and also very clean.

Absolutely wonderful! Staying here was the highlight of our holiday. The house was amazing with outstanding views over the river Douro. A gorgeous garden and swimming pool and wonderful staff who made the holiday extra special.
A highlight of our stay were the dinners served each evening in the garden

It was a village full of lovely friendly people especially the lady in the shop. There were some lovely walks nearby with beautiful views. It was not touristy. The property was big enough for 3 with good facilities for cooking and eating, air-conditioning which we needed and lovely bathrooms.
Beautiful flat in a very cute village. You’ll enjoy drinking a port wine on the terrasse after a long day exploring the beautiful Douro valley. Easy check-in process and you have a small Mercado right in front of the flat (however bring your own supplies for cooking at the flat)
The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Everything was working well. Nice atmosphere in the village. Nice view from the apartment (our cat enjoyed it, too!). Host were very responsive and helpful. They also gave us a very nice welcoming gift, tomato from the garden, some port wine, and other local products. Close to a river beach (8 mins by car). Located in the center of douro, good if you plan to travel around the region.
Riverside location was unusual and allowed us a close up view of the daily goings-on. Ferradosa is a small and quiet village, but São João da Pesqueira , a good-sized town, is only 15 minutes away. Robert and Phillip, the owners, are very congenial and were quick to provide us whatever we needed. We really enjoyed the boat ride on the river that Robert took us on on a beautiful and sunny day. We both enjoyed talking with him and learning about the Douro area. The Wi-Fi was wonderfully fast; the fastest of our holiday.
