It is even better than in the pictures. The house is located in the middle of an athletic village, on the hill with grape wines and orange trees. A small church is nearby. The view can not be better. You can hear bells and roosters. We arrived late in the rainy evening. The owner was there to meet and greet us. He quickly showed us the property. We appreciated the little welcome touches like cookies and milk. No problem with the parking. And it is easy to get from the place to wineries and other local attractions.

It's got a lovely view from the pool, kayaks, bikes, and a tasty restaurant on site. The breakfast is delicious and it has nice views over the river! It's a small place you're going to love to tell your friends and family about back home. With only a handful of rooms, you feel super special staying here as well.

Definitely one of most beautiful places I have ever seen. Big old house made of stones surrounded by flowers, winyards and gardens. Breathtaking wiew of Douro and the hills covered by winyards. The place is extremely quiet and friendly. Everything was clean and very cosy. Very good breakfast made partially from their own products. You can buy wine, which is also very good. Nobody speaks English, but you can easily communicate as the host family is very friendly.
