Diana, as a Host was extremely efficient, accommodating and kind hearted Host. She was very easy to communicate with and was prompt in replying. Her directions to the location were amazing and she walked me through the cabin and and the grounds to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. She even left a lovely gift basket of local treats which was very thoughtful and showed how proud she is of her home country and wants to share that with her guests. Very, very special. The cabin location was amazing with a great view of the village and the ocean with a lovely outdoor covered veranda to sit and eat and take in the view. The kitchen was efficient and well stocked with all you needed to have morning tea or coffee and to cook and make a meal. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. At night you could sit out, even in the rain and watch the sunset and in the morning have coffee and watch the sunrise. The Village has some great sights to take in as well as being a great location to drive to other areas with lots of great scenery along the way. The people in the Village are so lovely and social and make you feel like you are part of the community. There are a few local cats and they were the gentlest and sweetest and would come by for visits which was quite nice during the evenings. I highly recommend it for single travelers, couples, and or families.

Overall area is very beautiful We recommend to enjoy the products from the bakery for the breakfast, they are very fresh and tasty. We would love to come back. The best apartment I have ever rented. So clean, comfortable, with everything you need. The host is amazing. Very attentive and helpful. We arrived very late and had problems opening the door (twist it 4 times clockwise!!) and he came to help after 1am. He helped with itineraries and weather. The beds are sooooo comfortable and all the cooking equipment you need. Location perfect if you rent a car (easy free parking). I cannot rate this highly enough especially with the price in mind. Fantastic!

Gem of a place! We loved the house, the gardens and the facilities. The view of the ocean from the house was exceptional. The garden was unique and beautiful, the perfect place to relax after a day of hikes and tourist activities. The host was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and went out of her way to provide information and tourist activities. The house is a short drive from most Sao Miguel attractions. This is a very special place and our experience was unforgettable.

Ground floor one bedrrom, middle one bedroom , kitchen, garden and a huge living and dining room. Third floor 3 bedrooms. It is more a chateua than a house, the kitchen and living room are amazing with lots of china, glasses, evrything is very elegant. Garden and grill, banana trees outside. Great for a family gathering or a big group of friends like us. Small shop and cafe next door.
