The apartment was spotless, quiet, and very charming. We were near two supermarkets for groceries and not far from the town square where you could find restaurants and bakeries. Parking (free) on the street beside the apartment was very convenient. Access was easy!

Great view from top house, modern facilities and large comfy beds. When we got locked out someone was there to help us straight away. The river at the bottom of the hill is an amazing spot for a swim. Beautiful spot to relax in nature.

The location was perfect for us. We were able to explore the geopark & the Paiva River, extraordinary area, loved the small village, really able to get away & enjoy the peace & quiet. The first time we have ever slept in a place that has no noise at night. Really amazing!

The grounds and facilities were really beautiful. The breakfast was good. The staff offered and made hot eggs for us! Location was great for walking to the suspension bridge and to "village".
The host and the neighbours are very friendly. We had trouble finding the house and the host wasn't in the house when we arrived. Everyone we met in the village tried their best to help. Including the girl from the cafe, a grandpa with his grandson, a driver who passed-by,... the friendliess is amazing.

The Villa and environment is absolutely gorgeous Our hosts were very very kind and helpful, we also received a delicious and complete breakfast. The nearby suspension bridge and Paiva walkeay are simply unmissable experiences, we can only recommend Vila Guiomar and Alvarenga.
Nice bed and breakfast conviently located in the vicinity of the Paiva Walkways and the Ponte 516. Lovely views over the village and the surrounding landscape. Nice swimming pool. Super friendly staff. Visiting the recommended restaurant serving local beef specialties was a great experience.
