Very nice and helpful staff, we arrived at 7:30 and could get a shower and have breakfast before our tour started.
The beds were comfortables and the room was ok, just don't forget it's into the nature so you can find some animals/insects but that's normal... Anyhow the staff helped us get rid of them and set them free!

Our stay with Rosa and Elvis was absolutely incredible. The place, the energy, their hospitality, the rich animal life in their garden. The smell of the jungle. Their dog Kira greeting us every time we enter the property makes this a truly magical experience. We expected to have a good time in Puerto Maldonado, but did not expect to make great new friendships in Rosa and Elvis.
We mentioned for them on our second night that we were on our honeymoon, and the next day Rosa brought the beautiful garden inside and transformed our room into the perfect honeymoon suite.
Their demeanour and energy made it easy for us to feel welcome and at home.
We will forever cherish our late night talks about life, the unknown and future dreams.

The staff at Tronco are absolutely exceptional. My girlfriend got ill just before we arrived, and everyone at Tronco was so accommodating, caring and incredibly understanding, despite us having to make multiple last minute changes to our stay and activities. They cooked special food to help with her illness, and also assisted with medical attention. Nothing was too much to ask. The accommodation is lovely, the location is beautiful and peaceful, the food is excellent and the activities Tronco offer are fantastic. We only wish we could have done all of them! Everything is 10/10 and we would highly recommend staying with them for your visit to the Amazon. Thank you again everyone at Tronco.

I have been to many places but this one was by far the most comfortable and chill experience of all my travels. The little hut and the hammocks around the place are super cozy and you can watch a lot of wildlife doing its thing while just relaxing. (I have seen a lot of animals and plants/flowers just by walking around the place) Sheyla and her family are amazing and the food they are offering is delicious! You can also book tours with a very competent guide from the community for a reasonable price. Very much a no brainier if you want to see the rainforest in a cozy warm place where you can relax and also easily take trips around the area since it is close to the city as well. Really a hidden gem! :)

Beautfully set out, bedrooms where fantastic, food was amazing. Great for a place to relax before i headed out to tge jungle.
The location is amazing, the staff is very friendly, professional and caring, including the two mascottes Buddha and Papaya.
Great attention to the details and customer oriented. Transports can be arranged at location, including VIP excursions. The village also offers delicious lunches and dinner menus at a great price. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for a base in between the excursions in the Amazon.
The most beautiful paradise which is run by the loveliest host and staff. They organised all of our tours for us which we hugely enjoyed. The the food from their restaurant was unreal, some of the best food we had in Peru and they created some amazing vegan dishes for one of us. We highly recommend this ecovillage to everyone!
amazing villa with very friendly owner😊 we really enjoy a lot the stay and feeling in the middle of rainforest. The hotel is not in the city center, however it is very easy to take taxi to city center and most of the hotel in this area are anyway not in the center.

Antoni and the staff were so sweet and made our stay wonderful. They were so kind and helpful with everything from calling taxis for us, recommending restaurants, booking a tour and accommodating our dietary restrictions. Our stay was too short and we wished we had more time to stay at the lovely ecovillage. Highly recommend a stay with Kapievi Ecovillage.
A very peacefully place. Not a lot of rooms, which translated to few guests. The whole eco village is filled with vegetation and wildlife. We even saw a sloth on one of their trees! Dinner was good value for money, and was very romantic under candlelight in the dinning area. The swimming pool is nice too.
Kapievi is a true gem, a place I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Puerto Maldonado. Our host Gabriel took care of our every need from before we arrived to after we departed, providing guidance on places to visit and tours to book in the Amazon. The village is an adorable jungle escape, with gorgeous open air lobby and dining areas as well as very modern and comfortable rooms. It really felt like a paradise! I've never felt more at home somewhere I've stayed while traveling.
