It was spacious, had everything we needed in the cabin and on top a big kitchen and bbq to use for everyone. From the park we could see the see lions. There‘s even a coffee shack next door. Just perfect.

First time staying in a tiny home, and I love it!! The place has everything you need and is really comfy (although it did get really cold at night!). The hosts were super kind and waited pretty late for me to arrive.

New Haven (Near Owaka)
Offering a continental breakfast each morning, Kepplestone by the Sea - The Catlins is situated in New Haven in New Zealand's South Island. Free WiFi and free parking are provided.
It is just 100-metres' walk to the beach where sea lions and seals can be seen during the summer months. It is 5-minutes' drive to the Owaka golf course and 9-minutes' drive to Owaka, where you will find shops, cafes and restaurants.

Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, including breakfast foods. The location couldn't be better - a five minute walk to the beach and an easy drive to surrounding attractions. It was so quiet and private.
Glenomaru (Near Owaka)
Set in Glenomaru in the Otago region, Lawfield features a balcony and garden views. The property has inner courtyard views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Lawfield BnB was a lovely cozy hideaway, with stunning views of the rolling hills, sunrise, sunset and night stars. Though the cabin was secluded and small, it was thoughtfully designed with everything that we needed for a restful and comfortable stay, including hot shower, hairdryer, USB charging pods, a kitchenette, and full length glass doors and balcony for enjoying the views. The place was neat and clean. The hosts Keith and Helen were also warm and friendly. They gave us some excellent recommendations to check out in the area, such as the annual Farmers Market at Kaka Point. Location wise, this was pretty near a few highlights along the Catlins trail, such as Nugget Point and Roaring Bay. This would make a good rest stop along the Catlins trail, or launching base to explore the Catlins. This was one of our favourite places to stay in New Zealand. We stayed for only 1 night, and wished we stayed longer. We look forward to returning to Lawfield BnB one day!
